1 cup rolled oats
1/3 cup shortening
1/2 cup pure maple syrup
6 cups bread flour approximately
1/3 cup sugar
2 teaspoons salt
2 packages dry yeast
1/4 cup lukewarm water

1.5 cups reserved potato water, warm to touch
4 tbl dry yeast
2 tbl olive oil
4.5 lbs flour
3 tbl salt (or to taste)
1.5 cups chives or scallions(optional)

1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup light molasses
2 teaspoons salt
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons caraway seeds
1 cup boiling water
1 package yeast
3/4 cup warm water
2 cups rye flour
2 1/2 - 3 whole wheat flour

Corn Spoon Bread

1 can Cream-Style Corn
3/4 cup Milk
1/3 cup Butter or Margarine
2 Eggs
1 cup Cornmeal
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Baking Powder
1 4-oz. can chopped Green Chilies
1-1/2 cup shredded Cheddar Cheese
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into 9″ square baking pan or dish you have sprayed with non-stick coating, like Pam.

Garlic Bread

Loaf of Italian, French, or a Baguette
1 head of roasted garlic
softened butter, margarine or Olive Oil
Romano, Mozzarella, Parmesan cheeses
Split loaf in half lengthwise and lightly coat with butter, margarine or olive oil(which ever you prefer) then toast in oven or broiler.
